I agree that we need to stop abuse at its core…but is this a little mean spirited. It is only going to alienate those that need to come back to the warm embrace of Mother Church.

This was meant slightly tongue in cheek. However, Sr. Donna has been doing her escort routine for six years in plain view. She checked out a long time ago, if she and her ilk want to flout the Church they need to go. I’m going to assume that she has had ample opportunity over the last six years to be corrected by her sisters, superior, and her Bishop. They want it both ways, to get three hot’s and a cot from their order and to carry on in their own “apostolate” and not be stifled by Orthodoxy. I feel for these women, many have been used as pawns by a culture of death. They chose the habit (metaphorically speaking)and have turned away from the Church. If they believed originally, that makes them heretics now. Christ isn’t much for cowards, any branch that doesn’t produce good fruit needs to be pruned. I pray that Sr. Donna comes to her senses, she is an accessory to murder and that is truly mean spirited.
