Photos: Four Ordained Bishops by Pope Benedict at Epiphany Mass in St Peter’s Basilica

On January 6, the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord, His Holiness Benedict XVI ordained four bishops at St. Peter’s Basilica. The four candidates are current members of the Roman Curia, but their newly assigned positions require them to be part of the College of Bishops.

 Georg Gaenswein, 56, Prefect of the Papal Household. Gaenswein.

Vincenzo Zan, 62, Secretary for the Congregation for Catholic Education.

Fortunatus Nwachukwu, 52, was named nuncio to Nicaragua.

Nicolas Thevenin, 54. He has also been appointed as a nuncio.
